An incredible app for writers/thinkers/idea people An incredible app for writers/thinkers/idea people. The design is unlike anything I have seen in either a desktop or mobile app! I am not even sure exactly how it works so well for me–it just does! Now I can get rid of all my little scraps of paper with notes/ideas on them. Also great for taking notes as you read a book. If you read or write or just want to keep track of your ideas, try it!!

A really nicely designed app with good layout. I use it for cafe/restaurant reviews etc. With a few tweaks, 5 stars. Good cust care. Jim

If you are a visual person, this layout is for you! Only thing I could ask is to be able to attach pics and drag & drop to rearrange.

average as a simple post-it application this does ok. for those looking for context, picture a stack of post-it notes with messages scribbled on them and a key word (“label”) on each. app allowed me to enter a label with a space and then gave me the error “no spaces allowed” but the app continued anyway. btw this is not a to-do list. there is no prioritization, no dates, nothing in a methodical way, just free-form labels, titles, and texts.

For me this is the absolute best format for writing anything on the Tablet. I write everything here. The only thing that I miss is just a few basic formatting tools . Is that possible.?

That is the reason why Note Stacks and Praise Notepad were created. Using other notes app for notes longer than one screen can drive one bonkers.

For now, basic formatting is not supported in Note Stacks.
As for Praise Notepad, limited HTML is supported. The text has to be in HTML format surrounded by <HTML> … </HTML> tags.
The supported tags are in the following link
      http://commonsware.com/blog/Android/2010/05/26/html-tags-supported-by-textview.html

And for certain symbols you will need to use the following codes
      http://reeddesign.co.uk/test/character-entities.html

      Example
      <HTML> <p>Line&nbsp;&nbsp;1 <br /> <b>Line 2</b> </p> </HTML>

      will appear as

      Line  1
      Line 2

      where
<br /> is the new line and
      <p> … </p> is a paragraph
      <b> is bold
&nbsp; is non breaking space – note there are 2 spaces between ‘line’ and ‘1’
